CFMOTO has revealed a competitive price tag for its new mid-capacity parallel-twin sports bike, which is due to hit dealer floors in April 2023. The 2023 CFMOTO 450SR will check in at $7990 ride away, which places it favourably against other mid-cap LAMS sportsbikes including the Kawasaki Ninja 400 ($8949 ride away), Honda CBR500R ($11,142 ride Sport weighs in at 9kg more than the 196kg Heritage, but with those brakes, its stopping power is awesome. Together with the short-gearing, it is a hard-charging and hard-stopping bike built for carving for favourite mountain pass. However, the other shortcomings of the Heritage remain. My main gripe is the KYB rear shock.
