Re: High mileage TDV6. Someone made the great deduction that the crank snapping issue on the D3 D4 may be magnified by "lugging" the engine, basically flooring it in a high gear, makes the engine labour whilst it catches up - puts the crank under enormous stress. There's a thread discussing it on the forum or Google it.
